The Carbon Majors dataset is available for download as CSV files with 3 levels of granularity:
Low: Provides the year, entity and total emissions
Medium: Provides year, entity, commodity, commodity production, commodity unit, product emissions, total emissions
High: Provides the same as level 2 along with the reporting entity, datapoint source, product emissions (Scope 3), and the different operational emissions (Scope 1): flaring, venting, own fuel use, and fugitive methane.
Please note: Total emissions include Scope 1 operational emissions and Scope 3 product emissions, specifically Scope 3 Category 11 ‘use of sold products’. Scope 1 and Scope 3 cover only fossil fuel industry related activities; total Scope 1 and Scope 3 emissions may be higher.
